Hello brother(s) of ill-abilities!!! My name is Eddy a.k.a. bboy force . I am also called captainboogiedown...I am disabled but do not let my disabled heart stop me from dancing and doing what I love. I have a genetic problem called Familial HDL Deficiency...this flaw caused a big dilema in my life...it caused my heart to stop giving me a fatal heart attack and I flatlined 10minutes after getting to the hospital on Oct.6th,2008. Since the night my heart stopped and they miraculously brought me back shocking me 3times with a real difibilator, I have had two heart surgeries...one was the night I almost passed away forever...they put a huge chromium Cobalt stent in my L.A.D. in the heart. The 2nd surgery was a year and a half ago when they injected my heart several times in the dead scar tissue with my own stem cells extracted and cultivated in a lab for a few weeks until they were ready for injection. The type of heart-attack I had(which I am told Cardiologists is the worst type called the widowmaker) was massive and destroyed my heart rendering almost half of it into dead/lifeless scar tissue. I actually lost half of my heart's function/circulation capacity. My ejection fraction rate was 30 on my best days and 25 on most days. An ejection fraction rate of 60 is the normal max amount of normal people, mine was at half that. I aged decades in one night. Although I was hanging on by a string suffering for 17months after with several Hospital visits lasting days each time, I held on. I fought with everything I had and more. The more part was God on my side.
I was desperate & depressed for an answer...something to heal me. I knew God was with me the whole time. I tried to stay positive but I was knocked down over & over by my debilitating and fading health. I held on because I believe I have powerful angels with me always too,& I knew there was an answer for me out there somewhere. However, this answer, this miracle my family was so desperately praying for,was nowhere to be found. Every Cardiologist I saw told me I needed a pacemaker/difibilator box type device installed in my chest. This surgery would not heal me, in fact I felt it would hinder me more and cause my life to be even more difficult. Plus my family did not have the 40,000dollars for the difibilator surgery would cost me as I had no insurance at the time. My medicine and doctors visits were slamming the financial safety of my family's well-being. No one wanted to medically insure me...with no health coverage, tears of hope and desperation....I persisted and sought help. I was ttold One day my disabled elder neighbor(she lost a hand to the disease killing her slowly called skleraderma) told me about the University of Miami Cardiology Group turning her friend down for a stem cell program they had for treating patients with heart failure history. The same day my wife was on the net and saw something regarding this stem cell program. My weak heart was filled with hope and I knew God was with me. Recalling my story is hard for me emotionally as I have struggled and faced death head on. I have gone from being someone living a normal life to someone who has a serious disabilty. I kept hopes high and held on, the 2nd miracle all happened after I had visited the Hospital 3 times in the month of december 2009. I got out and immediately decided I was going to get better and rise to dance again, to spread a positive message of hope. I just knew I could count on God,although life was trying to show me otherwise,I held on. I got an appointment with University of Miami hospital and was immediatley enrolled in the stem cell program in early 2010. Part of the program requires for patients enrolling to sign off that they accept the terms of the study including a 33percent chance of receiving placeabo,33percent chance of getting someones elses stem cells and 33percent chance of getting my own stem cells from my own bone marrow. This was risky because of my weak health,to go through it all and get nothing/placeabo would have been devastating but I KNEW I WOULD GET MY OWN STEM CELLS,I NEVER DOUBTED IT OR GOD. Although the study is a "double blind" study, and it has not been confirmed to me (& won't be until 2013 when the stem cell study program is complete) I KNOW I got my own stemcells...all my tests come back that my health is improving and I can do all the things that young people get to enjoy again!! I CAN BBOY AGAIN IT'S A MIRACLE! I have received two miracles because of my persistence & keeping my spirit in a positive charge for God to see me with. I am a regular guy with character flaws like everyone else but I try to stay in the good of my conscience and spirit. Sure if a pretty lady walks by I look twice but I do not act on my healthy eyes desires. Everyone's case is different, but miracles happen, they are real. I stand as living proof. If not I wouldn't be here today. My 3 sons would be fatherless and my wife a widow,my saintly Mom would have been destroyed. My brothers would miss me dearly & my Dad would be worse off. Dad had a stroke because the genetic condition we share from his side of the family and he needs alot of assistance walking and doing certain things. I am glad to be here still to help,to love, and to spread positivity and ask the people that see me dance to always believe in the impossible. I let them know they are witnessing a miracle. I have a saying my Mom and Dad taught me and you will see it if you help support the cause we both share ...please watch my 2part video. I stayed up all night last night after finding out about you & your crew. It filled my heart with even more hope. Although I will never be normal again and my heart is still damaged, they healed me to so far an ejection fraction rate of 39 and it's climbing!! Along with all my test results!! I just took a lung test and a metobolic stress test on Monday and the Doctors and techs all commended me on my positive attitude, high hopes,& bravery. They said I am getting stronger. I have been honored publicly as having the "Heart of a Pioneer" for my participation in this study that will set ground for the future of medicine. I have been on the news 3 times so far in the last year because of my recovery and struggle. My quality of life from b4 and after is like night and day...I used to rest my head on my pillow at night not knowing if I would wake up the next day or pass in my sleep with my chest hurting and a lack of breath. Now, I don't feel that way anymore because I held on. It got close but I held on...AND I THANK GOD. Plus I have to give myself a pat on the back for being so hard-headed and hopeful. I was and still am eligable to collect disability monies from the Government of USA because of my heart disease. I had to hold on & be strong about the problem I face with heart disease because "Govt. disability assisted funds" only covers 40percent of what I make to provide for my family. we would starve. I decided to go forward and try living a normal life...and to the best of my ability(which I have alot of) & I do it with a smile on. Please contact me brother. I would love for you to see my video, let me know what you think and I propose my "ill-ability" for us to coloborate for the cause we both fight for. I also feel it's important for people to find out about my story for several reasons of hope, future medicine,& of course to teach others my saying. I really would love to mini-tour with you all somehow as another ill-body to help the cause. Plus I would give every dancer one more breather between sets. All in all please let me know what you think of my video and my "ill-ability" overall. Take care & Best Warm Wishes to you and yours.

Hey Guys

I am proud mom of Cody "The Gimp-Myster" Richards. He is 17...almost 18 (Feb 7). He was born with Spina bifida and hydrocephaleus.

He's been having a real tough time recently. loosing functioning in legs. Emotionally he is really hurting....even suicidal at times. But lately, he's been trying to dance with his crutches just like Luca.

We will be in Montreal first week of Feb.....for medical .....wondering if we could set up a suprize meeting. It would be a huge emotional boost for him...any chance?

He would love to have one in a men's large, we enjoy every year going to watch your performance and the message you deliver to all that are watching is inspiring.....Thank you Carol

Hey I'm Tony
My friends and me are looking for a good place to study the dance. I had studied the hiphop for half years and my friends are new. I am wondering a studio to study hiphop and break dance. Could you give me some help?
